What is SEO (SEO Explained with Examples)

Firstly, SEO which can also be called/viewed as content originality (first reporting) is the idea of gaming the system either directly or indirectly by appearing within the top 10 or top coveted number 1 spot in a search result.

This is also where the fiefdoms & bitter battles begin, either by companies spending exorbitant amounts of money on Google Ads, Facebook ads etc. Just to get the personals eyeballs.

In the long run all this causes is a negative balance account, or tanking a web company. Used appropriately Ads can extend things, used otherwise get ready to tank your business.

SEO used to be about a popularity rank game, depending just how High School things were, now a days the playing field has changed a bit. Presently, Google which 89% of searches go through used to play this game of the popularity link game. Till then this was a significant factor, until Google banned what it saw as the popularity game, or aka link farming.

Presently, what occurs, in search Google algorithm which is curated in algorithm updates that occur 2-4 times per year. Like Panda The current iteration is Hummingbird

The point of all these updates is to refine search for those that game the system. New winners & losers are replaced upon Google’s will & mood.

On the other hand is Social Networking Side of things it is a whole different ballgame, as well as this is for a separate post.

The point in the end is produce ORIGINAL CONTENT. I am also of the view that Social Networking should NOT be where your content is hosted. It SHOULD be hosted on a website, with social networking acting as a publisher of your said content.
